Solo X or 2 12" L7's

The new l7s are supposed to handle much more power then the old ones though, so thats always something to consider. I havent fully pushed them to the limits yet, but will as soon as my amp arrives.

to the original poster, dual 12" L7, electrical draw will be the same if you have the same 2000 watt amp for either setup...current draw, is current draw...

I'd give those new l7's a try. Wasn't there a thread a couple days ago about an 8" hitting 149.5db? That's insane.

Actually it's a pair of 10's. I'm doing 151.4 db with the exact same setup...just did a couple of adjustments, proper wiring and modify the box a little. This is running the new Treo 3.0 amps at 1 ohm. I'm going to drop it to 0.25 this coming weekend. I should be in the 53's real soon...crossing my fingers. I've done over 40 burps and the subs are holding like a champ.

That all depends on the install. I doubt most of the people could do that on here.

what wireing configeration did you order and how much do you have to spend anyway very good choice I doubt you'll be disapointed.
