Solo X is it really as good as they say? pfft

ok guys i havent heard the solo X line up yet! i have heard everything kicker has to offer other than the solo X. so i know they pretty much **** at sq.. lol.. anyways is the Solo X 10 12 and 18 really as good as they say? what are yalls thoughts on the solo-turds? really worth the bucks? and would one 18 be "LOUDER" than my two 12s now?

Yea 1 18 solo X would be louder then ur 2 12's but solo X is made for the meter so dont expect any better SQ then you already have lol . Also they are power hungry .

There was a navigator in vallejo california the other day that had 2 18" Solo X's....let me tell you, this guy did not know anything about building a daily setup. Loudest thing ever

Yeah that solo x 18 is a beast. there was guy in atlantic city with an astro van ?(i think) that had two of them in it. i walked up and it about vibrated my shirt off of me.

the solo x's are loud, but they don't sound very good. my friend took out his 2 L7 12's tuned to 45hz and when the solo x's came out he put in 1 12 solo x. He tuned the box to 55hz and gained 2.5db. He's also got 5000 watts on it. One thing ya gotta look at, the box for the 1 12 is bigger than his old box for 2 L7's. But its cool when people ask what he's got and he's like, 1 12.

An 18" solo wont have alot more cone area than two 12's would, like about 10% more. But, the two 12's will have dual motors. IMO due to power compression, the outputs of the two would be very close. It would probably come down to install.
