I would never recomend building a box out of particle board... Expecially a sub that requires what, 5,000 watts to RMS it?

if you have the ask that Q, i'd probably say use MDF.

Pboard has its applications, so does MDF. MDF is a hell of alot easier to work with, though.

Word of advice from experience, orion 2500d.

4000d would be fine daily, and you'd need at least two Orions to do that power...
