Solo X 12 or 18?

I am going to get a Solo X 12 or 18 but Im not sure which one to get. I already have a Kicker KX2500 amp. My big question is....What size sub would sound the best off of the Kicker 2500? I really wanna get the 18 but Im not sure if the 12 would sound better off of 2500 watts. Would the Kicker 2500 even be enough to push the 18? BTW space is not an issue.

yes, 2500 daily to a X would be good, some say they wouldnt dare send the 5,000 "RMS" to the sub that kicker claims it can handle (18" version). idk, never used one myself. I have seen 1 10" on 3,000 get VERYYYYY stinky after a 30 seconds at full tilt, dude had to open all 4 doors to air out the car. twas smokin a lil

18 more cone area and should be able to run 2500 at it all day and not worry bout nothing, and then down the road upgrade, plus people will be like thats a huge sub haha

from my personal experience...dont go with a solo x at all

aside from its wow factor outta the box, for daily its garbage, sounded like garbage to me and just couldnt handle the power

L7s are nice for daily spl, solo xs are only made for burping imo
