I'm Getting Two 12" 2 Ohms Solo Classic Subwoofer

Power Handling:

* Peak: 2400 watts (1200 watts per subwoofer)

* RMS: 1200 watts (600 watts per subwoofer)

Impedance: 2 Ohms

What size amp should I use to power this? I was looking at either the kicker zx1000.1 or maybe the zx1500.1/ or the power Acoustic Bamf 2000 or bamf4000.

Any thoughts on these amps? Are the power Acoustics quality amps? and which size amp should i use to have plenty of power?

Either of those Kicker amplifiers should work fine for you. As for PA, I would run a Hifonics BXi 2010, BXi 2610, or a Crunch GP3000d-pro before I would run anything from PA!

If he went with the dual 2 ohm subs, that AQ is not a good choice! Good luck with .5 daily on any 1 ohm stable amp OR 2 ohms nominal which would make the AQ 1200d a bad choice. Now, the 2200 would work @ 2 ohms for another choice. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
