solid audio amp ??

1 of my friends has a huge solid audio amp laying in his garage

he told me to take it tons of times.

it's 2000 or 2500 watt class D, i think 2000

and has a bad cap or diode

would it be worth fixing.

are they any good, cus i haven't really herd much about solid audio.

but this thing is huge in size. do they put out rated or less.

if it is worth fixing what would something like that cost to fix.

they seem solid.

sorry had to say it. they arent total crap. the one you're thinking of might be the 2500d. same board as an american bass xd3000. if it's anthing like the AB then i dunno about 2500w at 1 ohm. but surely not a crap amp. give the repair a shot. caps are easy to replace.

i just got a solid audio f2500d..... go to roe and they have pics of the internals there. pretty stout amp
