Sold My SPG-555. Should I Get HDC315?

Ok well I sold my SPG-555 to this girl Nicole I know for $450. Shes a dumb rich ***** and daddy gave me the money ten mins after she asked //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

So anyways, I'm thinking about going with the AQ HDC3 15" and powering it with my zx.1500.

Does anyone know if I should get the copper or aluminum coil? What size box, port, and what freq? And could this sub handle 1500 wrms daily? The zx.1500 birthsheet says 1704 wrms so I should be pushing about that give or take.

Please help me out or suggest another sub.

You will be fine with the copper coils. The sub will handle that amp no problem as long as your sending it clean power. Box size I would do around 4 cubes tuned in the mid to upper 30's.

Search next time and you will find more than enough info on this particular sub.

does anyone know anyone on this site who makes custom boxes for fairly cheap? the sub will be going in the back of my dakota ext cab so i need a wide tall box because other wise i cant lean my seats back far enough for poundin hole haha

and my kicker amp should easily push 1500-1700w rms cleanly right?

haha yeah but seriously i used to have a big box and couldnt lean my seats back far enough at all.

and yeah i think im goin with the hdc315 copper in a custom 4 net cubic ft @ 38hz, aeroported box.
