Really deep mounting depth coupled with an extremely high vas? More suited to HT use than car audio imo

People here like smaller ported enclosures and loudness for the sake of loudness. The XXX is better suited to large sealed enclousres, thus making it instantly useless to almost anyone on this forum interested in using it correctly.

The XXX is a beast. I can somewhat agree that it's better suited for ht use too, though. In a house you can make due with a massive enclosure. In most vehicles...not so much...

I already explained some of that, man.

1. People like small/ported enclosures, but the XXX does better in large/sealed boxes.

2. RE Audio sold out and a lot of people have a problem with that.

3. The XXX is obscenely expensive.

4. Many less expensive subwoofers get just as loud, or louder, than the XXX.

That should cover it...

I haven't seen many people talk bad about it.... I loved the MX I had, it was a little better suited for a car I think and it sounded great. I haven't heard the new XXX but I'm sure it's a beast if it's anything like the MX.

i was gona go with the 18 mx's and do a wall in my honda but instead i got the xxxs =[
