Cocaine was the EASIEST drug I have ever quit doing alot with smoking weed, I was doing it for a little while and I got a job and after the first day at the job and it killing me, I came home and passed out and went back to work the next day, did the same that night and I was done. I have not messed with anything worse than cocaine but from my experience it would be opiates (pain pills). Thank the lord he helped me with it and I have gotten everything back that I nearly lost...

true. those ****ers do look retarded. there is serious physical addictions going on dependent on the drug of choice.

I do believe physically it does mess them up after some period of time, detoxing yes physically it will to. But to get off of them and realize that you do not need them it becomes a mental problem, after 5 days of me quiting the physical part went away. Some days it kills me mentally and some days it does not, but thank god the physical pain has went away, that was the WORST of it all. The mental part I can handle.

i kind went in cycles; smoke pot for about a month every 2 or 3 days, did coke once a day for a month, pills about 2 or 3 times a day for a week, cigs for 2 weeks, alcohol many years nearly daily (but only to the point of intoxication once or twice a week)

not a single one have i felt anywhere close to addicted when i stopped using. stopped just because i knew they were bad

Well you are a lucky man my friend, that is how it started with me, ya know what can it do? I have never had trouble getting hooked on anything, ya know just for a weekend thing... And then it became every weekend, then it became at work every once in awhile, then it became whenever they called me I would get them and take them at work and on weekends, then I was calling people and getting them.

i am willing to bet some people are much more likely to get addicted to certain drugs. hence, why some people say "just quit" and others say "i cant !!!".

like 22mountaineer said, first you have to get over the physical, and then the mental (at least thats my best guess). its doable i would guess, but the mind is a VERY powerful thing.

Physically, I would agree. But physically isn't where it's at.

Addiciton is a disease of the mind, not th drugs itself. Atleast in my humble opinion.

Very Very true. I love to smoke weed, I can function perfectly stoned and can work and do anything normal, the funny thing is that people dont realize that im high all the time lol. I just love it because it calms me and when something that would usually piss me off, I would just let it go and think it through like why the hell would something piss me off? And when I smoke im always in a good mood, and people find it funny that im not angered very easily. I have drug tests and I always tell myself that I need to stop a couple days before my test, but it always fails and I would just take another hit. I still pass the drug tests, its very easy but you must know how to do it (research).

well im just sharing my thoughts, yes there is more addictive drugs out there that **** up people's lives then they cant work then loose jobs and will have to **** dick to feed the addiction. Me im smart, I feed my addiction all the time by making money and I function the same, so I dont loose my job. If I didnt have money for weed I would find money somehow, but would never **** a dick, I would be going around finding change or something. And if im not high, I have to go get high, unless I cant. simple yes weed is addicting to me, but not for other people, I got an addictive state of mind towards weed, and I love it.
