Crutches

I have to use crutches since I busted my knee, and I'm gonna have to continue using them for at least another month.

My question is... surgeons can zap kidney stones with lasers... technicians can see inside your body in great detail with an MRI machine. Doctors can replace peoples knees with titanium!

If we have figured out how to do all of this... why can't anyone figure out how to make crutches somewhat comfortable? Those rubber armpit pads are rubbing my pits raw!

you are not suposed to put a large amount of weight on the armpit things, more so using ur forearms.

I jus hopped around when i ****ed mine up.

Yeah, I know. I put the weight through my arms. What's messing me up is the friction between my armpit and the rubber piece whenever I move them.

I was on them for 4 months when i broke my leg my junior year of high school. Definately wrap some sort of rag/towel around the arm pit things. And like the guy said before me, use your forearms.

Dont worry, you'll get use to it.

Yea, crutches **** ***. I was only ever on them for about 2 days and it was horrible, I can't imagine having to be on them for months at a time.

That means you are using them incorrectly. Give it a few days for your arms to adapt. Soon you should be able to use the pads for stability only and there will be no friction.

I think I may have fractured a small portion of my knee, I was in a big *** hury and jumped down all the stairs and hit it on a door knob. ***** hurt man. Could barely walk, hopin around on one foot, cant go to the docter, but felt an indent in the bone, but o well cant waste my money, aint like I snaped it in half.
