I have always been very happy with the sound and output of Kappa Perfects for inexpensive subs

Last year I had a 10" Memphis Power Reference dual 4 ohm sub with the Memphis ported enclosure (i.e. fartbox) powered by a measly 150 watts RMS in my 2007 Accord. Believe it or not, for an add-on the the existing factory 160 watt "premium" (yeah right) system, it gave me some pretty decent low end!

If I had to rate it, I would say the Memphis 15-PR10D4 produced deeper bass than the two 10" JL10w3v2 subs that are each in a .75 cubic foot sealed chamber powered by 500 watts RMS in my Civic right now. OTOH, the two JL Audio subs w/500 watts are loud as fawk when compared to the single ported PR10D4 @ 150 watts.

Then again, my JL Audio 10w3v2 subs were a bargain boner sub too because I picked them up for $90!

Those Pioneer Premier Championship Pro subs are awesome! I have a pair I'm going to put in my geo beater on 2000 RMS. I'm expecting a nice setup there.

I know alot of people do not like kicker L7 subs here, but I just bought a 10" 2008 model L7 for $182 shipped to my door last night. Might be something to consider if that is your thing.

Pioneer Champion/TSW-3004/2 series ain't bad either and you can buy them at pretty much any flea market lol. Me and my friend are doing a budget install with 2 12" and a Hifonics 1606D in his vic.

Crunch Groundpounder subs are hella cheap and pound hard for a 600rms speaker. Ubercheap, good warranty if you buy from a local store.

You can run 3x as many with the same money.... Cone area > secksi logo on sub.
