why should temps matter to you? Only reason why public schools close are little kids at bus stops, I'd imagine you don't have to catch a bus at 5:45am to get to school.

No, but when you have to walk 20 minutes to class it does matter, especially when at -20 windchills frostbite takes less than 30 minutes to occur.

i do drive to school but at my school you can't drive right up to every building some you have you can only walk too.

2 degrees here with -15 wind chill. I was out earlier. Had to go pick up my iPod cable from a friend. Wasn't all that bad considering. Yesterday morning, however, was a different story. -5 degrees with -10 to -20 wind chill. Cold as hell.

Yeah, and in -20 degree type weather your car starts making some really messed up noises. I'm not one to normally stop to help people on a regular basis, but if I saw anyone on the side of the road right now I would stop. Literally KNOW ONE is turning their cars off to go inside of stores. I looked over at a car before work today, and it was running with a purse sitting in the pasanger seat with the motor running (I assume the doors were unlocked then?)...

me too, this shit is messed up. I think it is worth it to carry extra coats and masks/gloves in the car in this weather.

A lot of shit is illegal, but people still do it around here. If a cop wants to write me a ticket in this shit he can sit outside of my car while I think up every stupid *** question to ask him while he freezes his *** off standing outside my window.
