Just because you're further north doesn't mean you are colder right now... In alaska it was like 40 degrees this morning. It's -20 right now where I'm at.

For example. In Duluth MN it is currently -8 degrees, and in Minneapolis it is -18. I don't know where you are, but that is not colder than where I am in Iowa : /

why should temps matter to you? Only reason why public schools close are little kids at bus stops, I'd imagine you don't have to catch a bus at 5:45am to get to school.

No, but when you have to walk 20 minutes to class it does matter, especially when at -20 windchills frostbite takes less than 30 minutes to occur.

Do they cancel work because it gets cold? No. College isn't high school and should be treated as such.

Very true as well. I've been lucky enough to have school canceled twice here, both times because we got a huge blizzard, we literally had 4 foot and taller snow drifts, with the upper part of the Keeweenaw Peninsula getting 15 foot drifts on the roads.

i to live in iowa.....its ****ing terrible out. they were showing a comparison on the news. we were only a few degrees away from ****ing siberia and the south pole.

its retarded cold right now.
