Your saying your not using a 300A ANL fuse on your set-up? Should be used for the big 3, distro blocks if you have 2 amps, and battery to battery connections. They are chunky little *****es

because as stated in the manual the jl 1000/1 need at least a 100 amp fuse.

all the fuses did was make me lose voltage and lower my scores... I probably ran 6-8months with 2 20.1s and 15s daily with out any problems. I guess u just need to know what ur doin.

Please don't think that I am attacking you in any way. I am sure that you know what you are doing, but there are always accidents. All the fuses are there for is insurance. If everything works right, then the fuses will not blow. OTOH if there is a problem then the fuses blow and your ride is safe. If there is no fuse than there is a chance of fire. i know what they do and their benifit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif ... But for what my stereo was used for not having them outweighed their safety. And i honestly didnt run into any problems until i put fuses in, bulky fused holders got in the way and made it so i couldnt secure my wire as well... ended up melting one of my 1/0 runs on the exhaust manifold.
