So... PS3 or Xbox 360?

im selling my 360...gears and live 335 plus ship //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

im buying a ps3 ftw

i had all 3 next gen systems and i liked the ps3 and wii best

owned a 360 sold it and got a wii. the 360 was definately nice, but the wii is more fun. they are starting to come out with better games on the wii. madden is fun and i just picked up resident evil but haven't got into it yet.
The reviews on the RE 4 for the Wii are great. Said to be a great port to the Wii from the Gamecube. The Gamecube version is phenominal in it's own right.

I hate my 360...biggest pos I have ever used. Games lock up all the time, it ate my guitar hero disk, gives unreadbale disk errors, and sometimes turns red and just flat out doesn't work. I wish I would've bought the ps3.

I don't have either, and really don't play video games anyway. I've been hearing a lot of bad stuff about the 360, though. A guy at my work has sent his in twice already, and the guy across the street from me just sent his off last week.

Plus the PS3 has Blu-ray.

I agree. It seems alot of these console fans on here like to use reliability as a means of slamming the other console. It's not really a comparison. I've heard about alot of problems with 360s and PS3s. I think they BOTH have reliability issues. The only bad thing about the 360 is that they've been out a year longer than the PS3 so they should have less bugs to work out by now but I doubt that is the case. I wonder how long it will take Sony to get the bugs worked out of all the PS3s that are having problems??//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Who knows.??

Exactly. Both consoles are being mass produced in a hurry to make some money. Both consoles are pretty powerful in their own right, and utilize lots of technology to get the visuals and physics found in these games. There will be problems. Also, to the people with problems, where is your 360 being kept, or its power supply? Neither one of these consoles will like being in a cubby hole very much. Hell, even the Wii gets pretty warm.

Microsoft knows they have problems, which is why the warranty is being extended and they are retroactively paying back repair costs. Sony learned the hard way with the PS2, so they should handle PS3 problems pretty well.

Both consoles have amazing libraries coming out. It's just a matter of which first party titles do you want?

just saw on the news xbox has extended their warranty from 1 to 3 years. anyone who has had to have theirs fixed since the console came out can be reimbursed if that helps.

don't know if its been posted yet, but the 360 just increased their warranty to 3 years, TOTALLY free repair. So if you bought on release date, you are covered till November 2008. Plus 360 is the only way to go. They have a ton of sweet games coming out in the next couple weeks.
