Bad news always travels faster than good news my friend. Do you ever think about the cops that have lost their lives doing there job? How often do you have to risk your life at your job? Granted there are some corrupt cops out there, it is definately not just in that profession. Enron, tyco, worldcom, past presidents of our country, congressmen, etc. everywhere people are corrupt. For every shitty cop out there, there are 1000 that are good people and genuinly want to help others and protect other from murderers, rapists, drug dealers, etc. So dont make stupid, irrational generalizations about "small town cops" or cops in general, because the good far outweigh the bad.

your funny, 1 out of 1000 ehh come on now. There are alot more cops out to "serve and protect" but 1 out of 1000 is way to **** high. I lived in a small town there were quite a few corrupt cops.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if something like that was happening here. It seems like every other day the police pull someone over for a broken tail light and just magically find money or drugs in the car.
1 out of a 1000 was prob too low. prob more like 1 out of 10000. I just think its funny that people ***** about cops in general all the time, and not even consider the nature of their job. And dont get me wrong, this is coming from a guy whos gotten two speeding tickets and has a 1500 dollar fine due in february for running from the police. That doesnt make what i did right, and why would i be pissed at the cops for doing there job. So many people ***** at cops cause they got speeding tickets or drinking tickets, but its not the cops fault you broke the law. They are just doing their job.
HAHAHAHAHAHA 1 out of 10000 your ****in nuts. Yeah those tickets you deserved, i got pulled over going 41 in a 40 and got an 80 dollar ticket. The next time he pulled me over he told me to step out of my car cuffed me and serched my car and said he found drugs. Then asked me a bunch of questions, and i ended up catchin him in a lie. So i guess i got caught by the 1 in 10000 cop huh? So when my freinds gf was gettin harrased and being controlled in broad daylight. Thought she was going to get *****, and the cops standing on the other side of the street did nothing, i guess those 2 were 2 of 20000? Give me a ****in break.
Next your going to say racial profiling doesnt exist, and all the people that got shot for no reason was completly legit?

I would never say racial profiling doesnt exist. It exists in everyone, and im not going to argue on this issue, but think about it everyone profiles in one way or another. We all judge and make strong first impressions. Why did you let him search your car in the first place?? Without a search warrant or reasonable doubt(which yes i know is getting shady these days) he cant search your car. And why wouldnt you laugh at him if he claimed you had drugs when you didnt. He obviously was trying to get you to tell him something, but if you were innocent why did you entertain him. Why did you talk at all. You arent obligated to talk at all, and he wasnt going to take you to jail if he didnt really find drugs. And if he did find drugs do you really think he would screw around asking you questions. And im sorry about your friend, but i just cant fathom a cop watching someone getting harrassed, let alone on the verge of being ***** without doing anything. Something doesnt seem right but i wasnt there so cant really say yes or no. And you were doing one mile over the speed limit, and granted that is a bs thing to get pulled over for you were breaking the law. If youve ever taking a philosophy class it explains alot about laws, government, etc. And police have quotas just like everyone else. If your working at your sales job and the boss tells you you need x amount of sales by the end of month, and you need one sale or you lose your job your going to do what you need to to make the sale.
Im not sure what you are talking about when u said "people getting shot for no reason"...yea it happens every day, everywhere in the world.
How about this:
Tonight I pull into a local drug store and I notice a friend of mine standing by his car about to leave. I park beside him, get out and we stand there talking for about 5 minutes. He gets in his car, gets ready to leave and I pull mine up closer to the front. He spins the tires a little in the parking lot. Then I see blue lights, two cop cars have got him blocked in. I'm still trying to move my car, so I try to back up some more but I notice a car behind me will not move. So I just leave it and get out. He yells to me to get back in my car, no one told me to get out. At this time, I realized it was a cop. I get back in and he comes to get my license. I was issued a $100 trespassing ticket. He tells me I was in the parking lot for 10-15 minutes, which I wasn't. I pulled out, left, went back to the store after they were gone and got what I needed. I'd really love to know how talking to a friend in the parking lot before I went in the store was grounds for trespassing.
Most cops here are dickheads, with the exception of State Troopers. They're actually really respectful.
