well while im holding on the phone for Apple just thought i hould rant.

bought the new itouch 3.1 software and downloaded and installed and now is saying an error has occurred and took everything off my ipod and wont let me sync nething...was working fine 4 hours ago and now after i downloaded the enw software its fvcked.

don't sync it just make playlists and drop them into your ipod.. thats what i do as i delete the music after i stick it on there to clear up space and if you sync it will delete of ipod aswell..

i updated mine to 3.1 the other day with no problems.

I wonder if you've bricked it.

got it fixed with no help from Apple....i googled the error code and got some info on going under the music tab and unclicking it and clicking apply..then syncing without music then going back in after that and adding the music back.....solved my problem just hope i dont have to do that EVERY time i download.
