Best 2 Ch Powered Speaker System for TV?

I want to get rid of the half assed sound from HDTV flat panel rear speakers.

Basically looking to get a good, self powered, speaker system that sounds great for movies. 2 ch or 2.1 is okay. This is more for my parents, they are not big into bass.

I first came accross the Boston Acoustic MM220:

ive ran that logitech setup

ALOT of bass....maybe to much

sounded to muddy for me

without a doubt.... this.. Used it on my laptop then to my Flatscreen for a few months until i got a few grand saved for my HT setup.. The sub is excellent for being only a 6 1/2 , gets very pretty loud and boomy if you put it in a corner on a riser, but tight if you face it out ( comparable to a ppolk psw 10 i had for 29 days... TY best buy ) and the speakers are pretty impossible to make sound bad..

worth the $150, but if you wanna wait BB usually drops the price 20-30 bux every now and again

My buddy has the logitech one from the link above, mine sounded better and had more bass , and it sounded alot cleaner pretty much in every way.. i thought his sounded weak actually.. But yea it did sound sloppy too, maybe thats why you thought it was to much>?
