So, my pallet of Rockford Subs came in....

Today i recieved my pallet of Rockford subs i bought off ebay. Link to it below. As the description states, these are untested customer returns and they are not inventoried.

So the Fed Ex delivery truck pulls up at aproximately 2:30. We decide it would be easier to cut open the wrapping and transfer the sub boxes individually instead of trying to haul the entire 900 pound (!!!!!) pallet onto my driveway. As the driver cuts off the black plastic wrapping, I immediately notice that in between the two columns of dual sub boxes, instead of the one truck box with an RF P3 Shallow Mount sub that i saw on top of the subs in the picture, there are 8!!! Many of the P2's in the dual sub boxes have cracked cones, only a few subs are blown. The P3's are all in good condition.

After testing the subs, it looks like about half the P2's work, but many have cracked cones. 4 of the 8 shallow mount P3's work! Looks like i may have made a good buy. Luck finally shows its face...

Oh and i gave the driver one the dual sub boxes with a couple cracked cone subs in it as a tip. He was pretty helpful and into car audio too so that was cool. I will try to get some pics up in a few days.

its all used, half are blown, the boxes look rough. not to mention its fosgates lower line that can be had for 65 bucks each new, there not even worth the trouble of a recone

I am not going to do anything with the cracked and blown subs. I am going to sell the boxes and teh good subs. For everyone saying everything looks beat to shit, how would you figure. That picture sucks *** and you only get a good look (good look is a stretch) at two boxes.

As for these subs being the lower line, thats true. But they are all P2's so they are worth a little.

What you are all over lookng is the fact that I have 5 of these, all working in nice boxes:
