so much rattle what to do?

umm hey i got my whole car dynamatted alrdy and most of it in the trunk is double or triple stacked so its kinda hard to find the spot when i push down anywhere it still does it so dont be a ***. I have spent almost 1000 in sound deadener to sotp my rattle so dont say it takes common sense read my ****ing sig.

Trust me, if I wanted to be an *** to you, you'd know it. Me pointing out your question was far too generic was not me being an ***, it was me telling you to work a little harder at solving the problem yourself. Throwing $1000 worth of mat at the problem wont fix it, no amount of posts on the internet will fix it, only you get in and finding it will fix your problem. If you've done that much sound deadening already, you really should have some clue where to start.
And just so as not to be called an unhelpful ***, your problem is most likely the third brake light. I just really wanted you to find it yourself, it would have been easy. Oh well.

Just ignore the pricks on this forum, there are alot of them. I dont understand why some of these guys just dont ignore the entire post and dont post anything if they have nothing to contribute.

ok i figured out finally where that ****ing rattling is coming from except theres one problem on my car theres the 2 rods that are connected to my trunk lid thats whats rattling so i cant dynamat them or the trunk lid wont shut and i cant use foam either these 2 rods move in a circular motion when i move the trunk lid up and down so what can i do to get this to stop rattling?? I am thinking about wrapping the dynamat around the rods instead of over them not sure if it will work buyt does anyone else have an ideA?

well are they rattling against each other, or other metal, either way yolu just need to dampen in bettween the rod, and whatever its rattling against.

wow 1,000 dollars in sound deadner and all you need is prolly some cloth or somethin to put between the two rods nice

Wrap em in duct tape or black electrical tape. $1 solution.... LOL

cloth would work. i had the same problem in my civic
