yeah, especially if you set it up like a challenge. But in all honesty i think it has more to do with some perceived power trip. Some drama war between members. Maybe I'm dead wrong but thats the way i see it. Its all pretty inconsequential and pointless to me, but if you guys get something out of it or enjoy it, go for it.

In reality starting over will actually be more fun...all the real rep wh0res already have the most green dots you can get...kinda lost its fun. I would tend to agree, but alot of people dont use it at all. Its almost hardly noticeable. Ive gotten a few here and there, but with the exception of OT posts I like to think all of them are useful rather than whoring

i'd like to think so. but i live in reality. i just think there should be some better method for calculating rep.

If you allow people to rep eachother there will be abuse. The only way to end indiviual rep whoring is to switch from a person based rep system to a thread based one...where threads instead of people get voted up or down...but that totally defeats the point of having a rep system to fight scammers.

If they can people will always try to get cool little trinkets next to their name.
