Im just kiddn bro, seriously though there is a BIG difference between the two.

Ahh, nevermind. Aura really has a weird system of rating the excursion of their woofers. Take the "Whisper" (2" mid) for example, it says peak xmax of 3mm. The it turns right around and says peak p2p xmax of 10mm. I've personally gotten right around 8 mm of p2p (Unclipped) out of mine off a MA Audio Rockbox so I can only guess it's the latter.

I've seen ~ 2" p2p off my RPM Plus 10s. The thing is rated at 13 mm p2p. That's only a 4 to 1 ratio in it's favor. It was off an Audiosource Amp One playing "bass I love you" by bassotronics. A little less than 1 cube sealed. The low sweeps in the start of that song will make anything move. I thought I'd killed it before I gave it a once over and realized I didn't even soften up the suspension. If you want proof, tough, there's no way I'm going to try that again. It felt cruel to do that to an SQ woofer. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/hide.gif.2d479cfd917eedfe201353b91522ceab.gif

Hey guys..

Just wanted everyone to know that Sundown Audio is the official source of power for the 12" test session..

I think 4 1500's should be plenty //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

after the test session.. I'll be keeping a pair for personal use in the aveo.. give the mags a lil more to chew on.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

thanks Jake!

I'm still a little upset that theres no TC3000 or Brahma MKIV in there (since they are big players on the SQL market right now,) but theres still an insane amount of nice drivers there that need testing.

I tried everything I could to get something TC here..

minus overnight or 2 day.. there's no way to get something from the west coast here in time..

and that costs teh fortune
