Nowhere in any of my Aura manuals does it mention Xmech, Xmag, or any other fancy word starting with "Xm" that isn't literally labeled "Xmax". That word can be mentioned anywhere from one to three times each with a different meaning. That's why the rating on them is so hard to figure out sometimes.Xmax is not the same things as Xmech, which it sounds like you're describing. Xmax is not how far the speaker is able to travel one direction before bottoming out or reaching your suspension's limits.
Titanic? Quatro? Reference Series?wow..
Just got off the Phone with Mike from Parts Express... they want in on the fun too..
I can be expecting a few drivers from them in a couple days..
Parts Express has been kick butt with everything I've bought from them.. thank you parts express!!!!!!!

They may not mention it, but it still exists. You said one speaker was rated at 3mm xmax but you have seen it move 8mm or more. That is not xmax as speakers can usually travel much further than their rated xmax.Nowhere in any of my Aura manuals does it mention Xmech, Xmag, or any other fancy word starting with "Xm" that isn't literally labeled "Xmax". It seems in the stuff that isn't discontinued, they've gotten much better at it, but that doesn't help me any. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
