i dont need a smart phone...i just want a phone that,

1) Makes it easy to text

2) has a big screen

3) easy use for pictures and picture mail

5) durable (even though i dont have a history of breaking them)

6) offers a nice easy way to carry it ( the phone i have now just goes in my pocket)

im accepting all suggestions.

the HTC touch is out of the question...my friend just picked it up the battery last .5 a day with constant use. i need it to last at least a a full day...Ill need it for work

If you have sprint it's the Mogul. Awesome phone. Does everything you are lookin for.

Except the battery power is horrible.

Ditch Sprint and go with AT&T. You'll be open to ALOT more options.

I have the HTC Touch and I use it all day. My battery lasts about 1.5 days to sometimes 2 on a single charge. I use mine for work. I don't know what your friend does with his. Besides, they have 2000mAH batteries on Ebay for 6 bucks if that's your concern.

Have you checked out the Samsung Instinckt coming out for Sprint soon? Its kinda like the iPhone.

I have had the VX6700 and Dash, both really sucked need to be charged daily. My curve I charge maybe once a week and it charges fast as shit when I do plug it in.

That is probably the thing I like about it the most with the next being the size and weight of it still being slim

Just an FYI if you missed one of the above posts, I highly recommend howardforums.com for phone info. They always have Release date threads too, so they probably have one for the Blackberry above. Some phone companies require a data plan with a blackberry I believe, so you may want to look into that too. GL
