Been busy.... but finally got around to doing standard ported on my 8.

Holy *****, this 13$ 8 on 120w is flexing my roof. Specs showed that these would heavily favor ported or 6th. And the 4th i did, clearly limited this driver. I'll try and get a video up tmrw. Im shocked out the output, considering its wired on the rear of my Crossfire 60.4

Box is 0.8cu at 34hz with about 14^2. It plays high 20s no problem. I think ideally this driver would sound awesome in 0.65-0.75 ported. 0.8 is a little heavy on the low end. It hammers everything from about 28-45hz, then tapers off. On the ear, seems like its peaking between 36-38hz.

Box is .8 total? Or .8 on the ported side? What's the sealed side?

So you think .65 ported would work good? What about a 6th?

0.8 is my standard ported box. Its a little big imo. 0.65 should be nice and accurate, and not so bottom heavy like mine. I might put a little block of wood in mine to test shrinking it.

Would you use .75 cu ft sealed per sub or 1.0 cu ft per? I saw some Euro specs in litres that converted to .73 so I'm leaning towards my .75.
