Okay i just installed my PG rsd 6" components and there are a few problems.

My right side speakers seem to see less power than the left when i have the volume on seventeen or below it does not want to play and is all static, but when the volume is turned up, its kicks in fine. I can still hear a little static. It is wired to a cheap performance teknique 4 channel amp with 2 channels going to sub and the other two to the comps.

I can take pics of the wiring if u want.

also i am getting some alternator whine as well. Should i re-run the rca cable on the opposite side of the truck away from the power wire. And should i fond a better ground? I have a jvc Head unit.

Okay i did something like the test sub but i disconnected the woofer and connected the test speaker and it still sounded distorted. buth when i had my 6x5 connected they never sounded distorted at all. maybe i didnt properly set my gains for the two channels? put in the test tone, measure voltage in each channel right, or measure voltage for bridged channel?

Any more opinions on what it could be because im at a loss.

If i set my gains to high for my sub could it be robbing power from my other channel leaving it with dirty watts?
