I would concur with the local retard that SAs don't look special. Performance is an entirely different story.

I've ran the old Kickers and some JL's before... but that was when I was a noob. I ran some JL w3's before that was given to me and they was nice. But would never buy them. I honestly don't even know if I will run anything other than Custom subs again. I've yet to have any subs that sound as good as the ones I'm running currently. They hit everything I want and will get loud and clean doing it... single sub setup's i've had before tho is another story... Adire Brahma and the old HC I've yet to find a single sub that could compare to them... "of what i've ran so far"

I showed someone my 15 in custom built spl audio 15... a part of the foil on the s is comming up and he was like wow is that just a sticker. he proceeded to tell me he has heard loud cars before... then he sat in mine his mind quickly changed lol. All I have it running on is an apsm-1500 on stock electrical. so probably like 900 watts.

Im looking at geting a job at bestbuy or one of the local car audio shops if they will hire me. Lol..... Funny subject there...... Me and my teammates are going to be hosting a locals & surrounding counties sound comp down in my city, its going to be USACI style so the locals can pull higher scores. Me and my Teammates are not competing we are just judging and doing demos. but should be interesting when the noobs look in our vehicles and see AQ, DC, AB etc. Just be pretty funny. i think im going to have my wifey run her car in the lower class and kill the local guys and let her win the money for that class im sure she can pop a mid 144db to a 145db flat lol.....

I had some "friends" of "friends" Laugh when I told them I was running 2 sundown 8" . They were like "WTF are Sundown, some flea market subs?" My friend had already heard what I can do so he told his buddy to challenge me . His buddy had 2 12" CVR kicker with mrp 1000 in a prefab in A 01 silverado standard cab . I was running a modified T-line custom built ( not carpeted) with a memphis 16-pr1.500 monoblock ( underpowered for the subs) in my CRX.

He Heard mine first and saw I was flexing my hatch and sunroof pretty good , he did not even want to turn his on. He eventually did, and his friends were laughing at him and telling him he just got killed by 2 8" flea market subs in a homemade box . I never told them they were NOT flea market subs lol. I just let him think they were . I bet he googled it when he got home though .

I thought about applying for sales at car stereo one but I honestly don't know if I could let people make the mistake of spending their hard earned dollar on jl subs and all that other stuff.

I had some guys jump on me when I said that I think anything Kicker besides the CVX and Solo X are complete garbage and that square subs sound like poo. One of those guys was helping me with an install later on (made him to the bish work) and said he never heard of an RE sub. He didn't think it was anything worthwhile. When I got it running (1 10'' SE sealed) he was amazed on how good it sounded. Then he was amazed when I told him I only paid $90 for it. Compared to his W3 10 that he paid way too much for.

Or my friend that had 2 Comp 10's running on maybe 40 watts each with maybe 16 gauge power wire haha. Or the dude with an L7 which was "soooo loud" in it's prefab with 8 gauge running to the amp. He got mad when I said it sounded like pure distortion. These guys SMFH. Almost made me want to move home where my buddies have beast systems that you see on here.
