This is so true. The more I look at the "plain" looking DC, FI, Sundown etc the more I look at the CVR I stuck in my girls car and think "Woo look at the ribbed surround that don't move worth a crap and look at the fancy cone that sucks at life..."

Local shop here was having a sale on Kicker CVR's a few months ago... needless to say I went in and was checking out some of the stuff they have... they care Massive and Memphis stuff but only the Low End... They use to carry IA stuff, then quit after the hoodies wouldn't buy anything but Kicker/JL/Pioneer subs.. They had no demo car/truck of any of the good stuff only of a screwed up sealed clam shell with 6 15" CVRs running on about 2k of power.. Was funny getting a demo of that... Dude was in the truck like this is going to hurt your ears and take your breath away... I was like aight lets here it, so he proceeds to crank it up... yeah.... ears hurt cause of the distortion... So i proceed to say is that it? He got all pissy and was like this shitz is loud and hurts my ears... So I gave him a Little Demo of my 2 lil ole Extreme Super Shockers on the Earthquake D2.. Never seen someone get even more pissed because 2 12"s got louder than 6 15"s on the same power...

Not saying my system is killer but It does get Loud...

The local shops are just horrid here with everything... I figured with the cone area they had in the Demo truck it would of at least got Loud...

BTW they had the gains and bass boosts at max on the amps and HU.. they had 2 Kicker 1000.1 amps to run the subs..

Also Kind of like seeing all these Hoodies running around with Kickers/JL subs with boss and pyramid amps.. lol
