so i got some 4/0...what fuses?

i just need to know what size fuses to get(or circuit breakers,which ever one is better)what size they should be, and where to put them...do i put them before the main battery only?or before the main batt AND before the both secondary batts?is it ok for me to run my stock batt with my 2 c&d batts? also is it possible to make ur own distro block, or does anybody know where to get one that will fit the 4/0....can i use this for the ground too?when wirig batts do it ground to chassis or to batt itself... could someone link me me to some pics of the wiring of batt

1 ia 40.1 wired to 1 ohm

2 05 xxx 15's(d4)

2 c&d batts(100ah ea)

please help me asap as i am awiting responses so i can start wiring the batts up...(only thing i have not done before)will paypal someone $5 to completely diagram the the wiring process in paint shop or something

fusing goes between the last bat and the amp and depends on what the amp calls for.

4/0 is rated at 550 or 600 amps. Now you are talking 4/0, and not 4 gauge right?

Man 1/0 is rated at 300a usually.

http://www.powerstream.com/Wire_Size.htm doesnt matter want the amp needs, you fuse to the wire: says 380Abut @4/0 can vary quite a bit due to strand count and quality of material..just read that its going to be rather short run of wire, but still a fire would probably ruin that $1000 amp you have..

which robot subs do you have the hardtimes or the LA 3hp's?

my 4/0 rated over 600A

on yours i would start with 300 amps of fusing.
