my friends have had some problems with dick cops on a power trip. my uncle was a cop tho (now a detective) and he has always been nice.

Just be respectful and show them that you aren't a little shit driving some shit car.

they wanted to search because they wanted to, their is no harm in asking. I am going to guess you have things to hide, along wiht alot of the other guys that have already cried about the op agreeing to a search. Dont cry at the op for having nothing to hide, my guess is the cop was either going to ticket him for being another "punk" or be allowed to search the car and if he found nothing. let the kid go and that is what happened.

actually I dont have anythiong to hide anymore. I used to but not anymore. Me and my friend were driving in his celica after putting 2 12"s in and an amp and got pulled over for speeding. We were fine with that. He asked to search my friend said yes. The cop looked around saw the subs and amp ( Fully installed) The head unit we pulled out of his car ( no RCA's) and the HU we just finished putting in. He tryed to pin us with stealing the HU and the other equipment and saying we probably played the system loud. Once My friend showed him the recipet for the HU and I showed him the amp had no fuses in he was still a jack *** and let us off with a warning.

Yeah I know, the one time I didn't turn down the remote gain at a stop light, it turns out to be 2 cops in a Tahoe

Yea I got a ticket for loud music a few weekends ago. 120 bucks BLEH It was not EVEN close to being loud....and it was red hot chili peppers for christ sake. I should have been bumpin some gangster shit to make it worth it. They also searched my car becuase it "smelt like marijuana." .......I havn't smoked in ages.....BULLSHIT police doing w.e they want.

I'm sure ther're some cool ones...but the fact he had the nerve to say that in order to search my car made me steaming mad. Cus I knew for a fact that it did not smell like weed since it was impossible. After he gave me the ticket I told him what I thought about that bullshit though.

I was lucky enough to get my careless driving dropped...ended up paying a ticket for too many people in the car even though I was of age....guess it worked out I was lazy and didn't get my new license at the time.
