so i got it sorta narrowed down.....

i drive a 2000 sierra and im looking to put speakers under the back seat. i plan on getting a planet audio 1250rms amp and now i have to find a powerful speaker to go under the seat. fi, re, and si subs have all been mentioned to me and ive looked at all of them but i just want to see what people think about each of them and how the compare to each other i want one or two 12's depending on how powerful they are. would it be better to run one 12 at 1000 rms or two 12's at 500 rms each? please help me out

If you have the room, dual 12's with 500 watts each would be my choice. More woofers with the same amount of power = lower distortion, which is always a good thing (driver excursion gets cut in half when you double your surface area to reach the same output level).
