My headers alone gave my car 25 more hp lol and not to mention the extra 30 from the K&N, plus my 3.73 is a hell of a lot bigger slip than the stock 214 slip. In case you have to look this up to, bigger gear ratio means faster acceleration because of less rotation of the actual gear. Your kinda retarded. Thats how a managed to pull away from an srt-4 lol. Your a retard to also because my mustang weighs 3000 pounds. The srt-4 weighs 2900.... Hundred(s) man... you need to learn how to count. You are just flat out retarded to think a stock corvette would pull a stock viper. Depending on years and models.. yes, maybe. But in most cases no. That wouldnt happen. I think you need a reality check bro. You got issues to be talking up an american car that you dont even own. lol your sticking up for corvette when you drive an effin import(s). I never said the corvette isnt a great car and all man... But its not the BEST car to buy. There are many other cars out there that not just me but many other people would rather own. true but the 510 that is in vipers is making 600bhp naturally aspirated while the 427 in corvettes is making 638 with a supercharger.Your gonna make a bit more power off of the viper over the corvette with identical mods

Your statement confuses me. The LS9 is a 427. When I mentioned the alum 427 corvette motor, I was referring to the LS9. I assume Spike was also. What 427 are you talking about?

This makes me lol. Middle class people can get into these and they are actually too fast for people that haven't had any racing experience. Same could be said about a decent Mustang GT 500 or SS Camaro with just a couple grand worth of mods. These cars could get away from someone VERY quickly unless they know what they are doing.

Move onto SRT10 Viper ACRs, C6 Z06 or ZR1s and you're talking a car that even someone with at speed driving experience has to learn because there is just so much power in them. Sure, any respectable 80k+ sports car is in the same league as far as top speed, but those cars don't have the torque, or the guts of these beastly cars. To match that you're talking $150k+ which takes your normal person out of the mix for buying one. Let alone, look at the ownership(maintenance) costs of a Viper/Vette vs a 911 GT3. You could essentially own both the Viper and the Vette and it would cost you less per year. For pansies? No. For practical people? Yes

And whats a "slip" anyway? If you are talking about rear gears, then thats what they are called, not a slip. You are probably referring to a limited slip rear end, which is a different component.

Now, I have it even worse.......I have an '02 4cyl S10.........only about 95 @ the ground stock on a good day.

But, mine is boosted a tad....
