Even if other job opportunities are available, it sucks not to have money.Considering you were at a register before you got fired, I'd say you pulling a part time job making minimum wage. Probably at a grocery store considering you're not a bank and breaking 100s fairly often. It'd be kind of stupid to me to mourn losing a job like that. Maybe here in Michigan where that's about all you can find these days, but not in Chicago. Good luck with the new job, and remember skilled labor is where it's at.
Didn't say it would work...but people like to throw away $ to make themselves sleep at night thinking they might resolve something judicially.Ummm... yeah. Waste your money and time. You have no case.

i can smoke at work, but i never clock in or out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/graduate.gif.d982460be9f153bb54e5d4cb744f6ae8.gifyou cant smoke while clocked in imho..
u shoulda clocked out if it was slow or asked if you could clock out for a minute.
company's should get after you for that..
you shouldve asked for proof on the money lost tho.
INdeed, if you are underage and smoked in front that doesn't send a very positive message. It is against policy to exchange money yet you did. It doesn't matter if you had done it before. You are under age yet smoke in front of the store. In the companies eyes, what other laws are you willing to break? Your termination was well deserved and I hope you learned something from it.
BTW it is a common practice of stores to not allow money exchanging. They aren't friggin banks.
