There seems to be a ton of problems with the RX-8s...not that fast and bad gas mileage/reliability/emissions issues if I remember correctly, and I know Cali is picky about that kinda stuff

I have a guy who can smog is cause if i get its not going to be street legal... no catalytic etc.. but i hear rotary's have alot of problems with the seals in the rotars....

The storm that hit the west a couple weeks ago flooded my street and my 01 RSX Type S got flooded and the insurance company deamed it "totalled" even though it still ran. I guess if water get in the cabin its considered totalled cause of health problems like mildew or something. So they gave me $10,000 now i cant decide what kind of car to get? I can get a decent looking Rx-7 FD and fix it up.. or i can get a Rx-8, another RSX Type S, a Automatic Supra MKIV and ****** swap it for a stick, or an s2000? Im not looking for a sub machine car ahah im more of a "tuner" i guess thats the word... Jsut shoot me ideass!

You said 10 grand, you are climbing over 10 grand there. Hell, for under 20 grand my GN eats up Vipers, Vettes, and most anything out there... I haven't lost yet.

question for you OP... you mentioned you got 10K from the insurance company... does that mean you have up to 10K to spend or do you have more?

what kind of budget do you have to work with because 10K will not get you the majority of the vehicles you mentioned...
