So I broke,

Could have just resoldered the wire then put some liquid electrical tape over the area.

But my experience from repairing ripped tinsel leads like that(instead of replacing the wires) is it'll rip again sooner or later.

I just didnt think it would hold up that good no matter what I put on it so I didnt try, I've still got the small end piece though. But yeah, I need to figure out why exactly it happened, but I hope it holds.
