LP sounds like shit from what Ive read.

From someone who once owned 13 Ell Pees, I can say with certainty that I will NEVER own another one!

I will disagree with them sounding like shіt though. Well, at reference levels... In one of my cars they colored the sound so bad that they actually made some craptastic Alpine Type S components sound decent at low volume. Unfortunately, it is when cranked up they became weak as pіss and started to cut out on me. I was able to replicate the same results on my test bench with 90% of my Linear Powers NOT making rated power and going into protect WAY before clipping. Don't even get me started on their loosely wound transformers that squealed like a stuck pig when the volume was cranked.

Lastly, don't let anyone bullshіt you into thinking there is anything "great" about these amplifiers or that the modifications performed by TIPS can bring them up to current day technology. There is a reason the company went out of business and it WAS NOT because they made a great product!
