So... Gladiator > 300

Troy > 300, gladiator Never watched alexander.
first off, your are better off never watchin alexander. possibly teh worst movie ever made. after watching it i definately felt like //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/*******.gif.a649d21efc0d1fd4890a6428166586c1.gif myself.

second, Troy blew. i was extremely dissapointed in the whole movie in general. the battles were pretty good, but it just didnt "leave me fullfilled" as nG states.

300 an gladiator are both great movies, but you have to realize they are 2 completely different movies. but they were still both great in there own.

I agree with them both being two completely different movies especially in the sense that one has more depth story wise compared to just killing.

I personally loved 300 but it could have had more story involved.

Gladiator > 300

Sorry but I've got to diagree, Gladiator is up there with one of my favorite all time movies. But I'm definately biased because I like Roman history > Greek.

Gladiator was about more than war it was about liberty, fighting for what was right, revenge, and had a clear sense of purpose.

300 started off as fighting for their homes but turned into being about 100% selfish glory at the end as they were given the option to make a deal with the Persian king and return home alive.

To say the Russel Crowe / Gladiator was gay is blasphemy and that 300 wasn't. I mean the Greeks were very openly gay for their Armies and look at the costumes they wore for the movie.

Sry thought Starship Troopers sucked ballz, cheezy ending and cheezy editing.

Ummm, he told them to surrender, spartans dont surrender.

and starship troopers was one of my favorite movies.

I liked the movie overall. It was based off a graphic novel, it's not ment to be a historical, or accurate account IMO.

There were parts I didn't like, but the overall vibe I got from the movie I enjoyed. I like to watch movies as they are, I don't expect many to be truely GREAT.

You can watch Gladiator with a chick cuz it had a story line. 300 was just pure testosterone from start to finish //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Both were good. Two completely separate entities. Comparing them against each other is like comparing "Road to Perdition" with "The Green Mile" just because they both had Tom Hanks. Both great movies but VERY different.

My top 3 badass war movies are:

3 - Braveheart

2 - Tears of the Sun

1 - Saving Private Ryan

300 was a big let down. i was still eating my popcorn during the credits like "wtf thats it?". that movie needed to be like an hour longer to get more in depth with the story. i felt like it moved too quickly. i guess i just had higher expectations.
