Haven't got an email from you. You've got three options, you can attempt to solder them like they are..which odds are they will break again. Second you can get a tinsel kit and a dustcap from us and put new ones in them. Or lastly you could get the new recones that have the sandwiched leads...

Regardless your subsonic filter needs to be adjusted so they do not unload, or you need to drop the tuning of your enclosure...that is the cause of snapping tinsel leads is simply over excursion.

is it snapping the leads or burning the leads. if they are chared then you might want to back off on the gain a little. fi is a great company w/ excellent customer service. nick will take care of you.

 
Id be surprised to see the relatively large gauge wire of a tinsel lead melt before the smaller gauge wire in the coil did. As Nick said above, generally speaking a broken tinsel is from over-excursion, not too much current flow. Mechanical failure, not thermal.
