i was looking at Power Acoustik but i have no idea who the hell they are

PA makes some good budget amps. I recommed them and used to sell them back in the day. I do however don't suggest any of their subwoofers though.

Don't have a link for anything, but a nice 1000rms amp should do nicely on 2 d4 Type R's. Get a 1ohm stable amp though.

I have an old school lanzar I would be willing to sell for 120 bucks shipped. With a decent electrical system you could get close to 1000rms and it will wang. Not gonna lie though it is a/b technology and shuts off or should say goes into protection for a minuet and comes back on. This is about after 10 minuets at full tilt though. That is why I am selling dirt cheap. Otherwise would be asking a lot more.

Let me know if you are interested. I can get pics and what not. Just PM me about it.

Also looking at that link, if you are getting two dual 4 ohm subs, then you want a 1 ohm stable amp. Just a heads up.

would i be alright if i got that power acoustik amp that says it pushes 550rms at 2ohms to power 2 12" 2 ohm Type R's?

i know the amp says 550rms @ 2 ohms but it will prob do like 450rms @ 2ohms but im wondering if it is legit kinda

and also i cant find any other amps that would power two subs @ 2 ohms for 500rms

well i dont know if say a kicker zx750.1 would be able to split into 2 channels for 2 subs....

thats kinda why im asking for some1 to show me or tell me what kinds of amps would work for 2 cvr or 2 type r's

You don't NEED that much power. They would sound fine off of 500-600wrms if thats what you could afford. It would probably be helpful if you gave us a price point and we could point you in the direction of a few decent/good amps.

i am able to spend up to about 250 for a good amp that will give me reliable power and quality

yaaa 2 d2ohm 12" subs rated about 500rms each

I'd look into something like the Kicker ZX1000.1 or the ZX1500.1

It will give you the power you need @2ohms.
