H ell no, but I do want to believe it. I am just hoping for the glory days of "made in the USA" to return with the same rock solid construction as the old school stuff:crap:^ do we know that for sure?
it will be a long time before americans start working as efficiently, cheaply, and consistently as people do overseas...H ell no, but I do want to believe it. I am just hoping for the glory days of "made in the USA" to return with the same rock solid construction as the old school stuff:crap:

If you grabbed one or it fried I'm sure you would notice how hollow and light it is.I have to wonder how this was discovered in the first place. I mean, how many of you are going to cut open a cap, even if you discover it has failed?
Lets say the amp stopped working, and notice a cap leaking... I would go ahead and replace em all for good measure... wait... this thing is suspiciously light. A cap like that should have a little weight to it, and this one pictured wouldn't foot the bill.I have to wonder how this was discovered in the first place. I mean, how many of you are going to cut open a cap, even if you discover it has failed? Methinks that the perpetrator has a leak somewhere....possibly a buildhouse/company employee with a conscience (or didn't get a raise).
Possibly, but that also makes me wonder if the company selling the amp was monitoring the quality of their product's performance.Probably a build houses way of saving money.
