It's highly probable that your inline fuse was like 200A or more and would never protect that amp from damaging itself. Either way, that amp may or may not be worth the cost of shipping 2 ways + repair. I'd figure around 300$ give or take all-in. There's nothing user serviceable in those and you can't just replace obviously burnt parts and expect things to work... if that were the case, legit repair shops wouldn't be charging 70$ an hour and up for bench time.I have an inline fuse that blew when they were wired backwards. After I switched everything, no fuse blew, turned on like normal and smoked after a few seconds. I cracked it open and there is no visual damage but that doesn't mean something still isn't fried. I don't want to cause more damage and have to buy a new amp if it's just some internals that could be replaced.
Throw your caps in the garbage while you're deciding.
