Small Subs

Hey. I'm trying to decide on subs for my new Titan. I'm looking at 3 or 4 8's. I am trying to decide between using a bigger 8 forward firing or a smaller 8 downfiring. If I go the downfiring route the only sub I can find to fit is a kicker 8L7. If I go the other way I was thinking of jl 8W7's or soundsplinter 8's. Which would be better, I'm looking for more SQ but still want them to hit hard. I am also going to need an amp to push them. Don't really have a budget.

I have heard that a lot of people are pleased with the overall performance of a mass accumulation of RE 8's, if you can still find em.

8w7's if you wanna spend the $$$ on 'em. I wouldn't do the 8L7's if you are looking for SQ but i've heard they can get pretty loud. I think someone on this forum was doing 138.x with 1 of them.

Heard good things about the rl-i 8's but I don't think they are in production at the moment.

Four Crystal 8s pushed by an Orion 1200D. Cheap setup, will slam hard and sound good. Done right you can get all of it for less than $500 easily. You will just need to check around is all.

You can get Megasound woofers at Walmart for $20. They only come in 12's though.

Id hit up the JL 8w7 man. It will hit hard, and it has great sq, i got a 10, and i used to have 2 12"s. and there great. Ive been trough many subs and im really pleased with the w7.....
