First off love the forum, lots of useful information, knowledgable people, and amazing builds.
I'm looking for some suggestions and opinions to help me decide on a new set of subs for the cargo area in my SUV
Alright a little background, got rid of my regular cab truck, got a SUV, now I have some space I've been able to use the equipment I've snagged over the years. First I tried a xxx15" ported at 30hz loved it, currently the inhuman 18" ported at 28hz also great. But now I want some cargo area space back. So I am making fiberglass wheel well boxes for both sides, should be 1ft^3 internal each, and I have been planning on using 12" subs
I like the ability to have headroom in the sub volume department, or in other words, I would like keep or be close to the volume level of 1 ported 15" with a pair of sealed 12"s
I have a pair of Massive DMX12" but they are from my SPL days I don't think they should really even be paired with DLS Ultimate amps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
So I have been considering my options
I could get a pair of XXX 12"s, That would be nice but they may be on the verge of being too deep for my installation, and of course they are fairly pricey for a set.

I'm very interested in the
DIYMA 12", I did some research and it seems everyone says the overall SQ is amazing but the output from people using them in half cube boxes is 75% of other woofers. I guess what i'm wondering is if a pair of DIYMA12"s in double the space sealed will put a smile on my face like the XXX 15" does?
Any other woofer suggestions?
