small sealed or free air

i got a set of 09 RF t152's and i made a sealed box for them butt after i installed them i heard they would be better off running free air. butt it will be a real pain to change it im happy with the lower mid frequency butt not so happy with the higher mid do you think it would be worth the effort to change it
