Small footprint Sub amp

Ok, I am working on the install of my 2009 MINI and was contemplating the size of monoblock amps. I plan on installing my Sundown SAE-1000d in the side panel but was wondering if there is a smaller compairable amp. Any suggestions? I need between 600w RMS @ 2 or around 1000 @1 ohm.

The memphis MCD1000 is quite small. But also, its expensive. Id go with the DD myself.
