small footprint 1200-1500 @2 omhm

As the title states looking for a small footprint amp to power a pair of sundown sa-10s @ 2 ohms. right know I'm looking at the vfl 4480, but not sure of better options. Trying to stay around the $300 mark. Will be going into a 2013 ram 1500. Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated

Alpine makes some nice, compact sized amps which do well at 2 ohms.

They pop up used sometimes, but I agree about the location issue. If I remember correctly, one of our TeamSSA members is running an Alpine MRX-M110 on a pair of Dcon's and absolutely loves it.

I don't know if you consider this small, but I recommend JBL GTO-1001EZ.

I know, but anyway, check kicker amps, most of them make their power at 2ohms, and the alpines do too.

Hes a new member so deff use paypal buyer protection but I think thats just what you are looking for. Thats a really nice little amp.

EDIT Didnt see that u needed it at 2ohms. Well sorry lol. Too bad ur speakers wernt dual 4s

Alpine for sure. Had an MRX-M100 as my first true powerful amp, absolutely loved it
