small budget amp

im trying to put in a sub/amp/box for a friend w/ an extremely small budget. i have 300 for all of it. i need about 600 watts and the only way to really get it is a refurb amp. how do these two look?

did you get everything else already? if not maybe try out the IA 187's..they are cheap but very nice subs for the money...2 of those and id choose the directed amp and then buy box plans from somone on the forum and build him a box for less than 300 easily.

Pretty solid amps IMO.

You might also check out http://www.profilecaraudio.com. They have some super cheap 600w amps that are pretty solid amps. Plus, they come with a 1 yr mfg's warranty.

build your own box, its gonna be close on the $300 mark with wirekit and box supplies though.

i showed my friend a lot of different options and hes gonna go over budget just a big and splurge on the type R. he wants to port it. should i get him the dual 2 ohm and wire it down to 1 ohm so i can run more power to it? i showed him lots of amps and he is probly gonna go for a refurb directed 1100D and set the gains a little low
