I'm about to purchase some new speakers for my car. I have a 4 channel amp that I'll be hooking them up to. I already have an amp and sub running on 4 gauge power wires. The amp in my car is Sound Ordnance™ M-2100 and its running Sound Ordnance B-12 sub. I plan to hook up Sony Xplod XM-405EQX using a fused distribution block and 8 gauge wires going to both amps.

My question is, will this work?

If not, what would you guys suggest?

You will be perfectly fine with 4AWG from batt to distro block and 8 AWG or larger from distro block to each amp. Use at least 8 AWG for the amp grounds too.

Thank you for the reply! I will do just that.
