Small 10" box

Looking for the smallest box possible... Needs at least 6" of mounting dept for an Sundown audio SA10"

I was thinking something like

12x12x8

would be about .66cubic feet before displacement... Any clue if i could find this pre built or will i have to build a box?

You would have to build a box for it, or have one built.... I would reccomend a ported box tho have you thought about having one designed and built for you?

Not going ported. This is in a boat, so I would build the box from mdf and seal it off with resin to water proof it from moisture.

Already have a RE SX on 1300watts in the passenger compartment in a ported box @ 34hz. Just wanted to add something small under the drivers feet for a little extra thump. Im only going to push ~360w to the SA10

True. I have a bit more room than that. I need to measure it. I want to run the SA10, since i already bought it. It need 6" of mounting dept and my 12x12x16 box was just a bit too wide (12" side)... so i think if i do something like mentioned in the OP it should work

Does your boat have an engine that has an alternator? I've always wondered how people put big stereo's on boats.

Yea, the engine is a 350 chevy v8 putting out approx 350hp. It comes with a 100amp alt stock, and im looking at a 200amp upgrade.
