slurring voices on tweets

im giving my rainbow SLC 265s about 140 RMS from my diamond d3 400.4 (bridged)

mids sound amazing in the kick panels aimed between ears

tweeters are in the sail panels and are very detailed, but occasionally, voices and certain noises will start getting slurred. i have the crossovers set at -3db for the tweets and they're aimed at you're head. i fooled around with aiming them at the windshield and some other locations, but it was the same thing. i also messed around with my head unit (kenwood x790) and still couldnt get rid of it.

it kind of sounds likke theres a huge peak in the frequency (the higher pitches of a voice, dk what that is around)

is there anything i can do to fix this? do i need some kind of processing? are the tweets out of phase with the mids? would i fix this by switching positive and negative?

thanks for the help. i tried my best to try to figure it out, but got stumped.
